Ealtun 24% OD (Herbicide)

EALTUN is a mixture of nicosulfuron, atrazine, and mesotrione combines the strengths of each herbicide to provide broad-spectrum weed control in corn. Nicosulfuron targets grass and broadleaf weeds by inhibiting acetolactate synthase (ALS), essential for amino acid synthesis. Atrazine disrupts photosynthesis by binding to the QB site of the photosystem II complex, offering both pre- and post-emergence control of a wide range of weeds. Mesotrione inhibits 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD), leading to weed death by disrupting carotenoid biosynthesis. Together, these herbicides provide comprehensive control of various weed species, enhancing crop protection and reducing the risk of weed resistance through multiple modes of action.

Atrazine 180gm/L ,18.10% (w/w)

Mesotrione 40gm/L , 4% (w/w)

FORMULATION : OD (Oil Dispersion)

PACK SIZE : 400ML

MOOD OF ACTION :

  • Nicosulfuron:
    • Mode of Action: Inhibits acetolactate synthase (ALS), essential for amino acid synthesis.
    • Systemic: Yes, it is absorbed by the plant and moves throughout its tissues.
  • Atrazine:
    • Mode of Action: Disrupts photosynthesis by binding to the QB site of the photosystem II complex.
    • Systemic: No, it primarily works by being absorbed through the leaves and roots but is not translocated extensively within the plant.
  • Mesotrione:
    • Mode of Action: Inhibits 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD), affecting carotenoid biosynthesis.
    • Systemic: Yes, it is absorbed and moves throughout the plant, leading to bleaching and death of the weed.
